Beet-root Burgers & Ice Cream

I love how bright and white our kitchen is! We’re looking forward to starting an herb garden on the windowsill.
For supper on Monday I made beet-root burgers along with coleslaw and fries.
The burger patties have grated beets, carrots, oatmeal, eggs, red onion, parsley, and some spices. You have to form the patties, fry them a little bit in a pan, and then bake them for 20 minutes.
I’m still working on my “foodie” pictures with the new camera, but this meal was so phenomenal I had to share it. The burgers were topped with greens, cheese, and sriracha mayo.
Monday marked 1 month of being married, so we decided to go to Dutch Dreams, which is in our neighbourhood.
